near miss...

was awakened by a thundering shout early in the sunday morning. mom was yelling for help as grandma fainted down and hit onto the ground. she was not really conscious and unable to move even a step forward from the position where she was.

without any second thought, bro and i carried her into the car and sent her to the hospital.

while we were on our way to the hospital, she could not sit properly so half of her body was leaning on my shoulder. when i was holding her hands, i was shocked as they were so cold. i tried to rub her hands in order to keep them warm... it may sound useless but that was the only thing i could do at that moment.

right after we arrived at the hospital, doc had done regular checkup and found out that her glucose level was way too low than normal.

fortunately she is now getting better after treated with intravenous glucose. however, she has to stay in the hospital under the observation for several days as doc said her glucose level is now overshooting the normal level (she is a diabetic). how contradictory this is... gosh.

anyhow, mom says that grandma will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow. :) god bless
